Kim Victoria Cattrall, born on the 21st of August, 1956 in London in London, is a British and Canadian actor from Canada and Britain. She is most famous as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. In this role, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for Best Female Supporting actor. The character was reprised on Sex and the City 2 Sex and the City films (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2009). Also, she is known for her role as the lead in the films of the 1980s Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall's character on the HBO TV sitcom Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. A noted actress Cattrall's portrayal as Samantha Jones has been a defining moment in her career.
